Zva Creative February DT Blog Hop!

Hello friends! Zva Creative and our talented Design Team welcome you to our February blog hop! We are very excited to kick off another blog hop and tohave you join us today. We hope you are inspired all of the beautiful work that we are about to shareThe hop begins at Zva Creatives blog Be sure head on over to check it out !!!

You will also find a complete list of all the participating blogs there (in case there is a glitch along the way). As you know, Zva offers many beautiful color groupings for pearls, flowers and crystals. If you like what you see along the hop you can find a list of stores and online retailers that sell Zva HERE.Our local sb store Paper Niche carries LOTS of it ....blink blink
Here is a layout I made this weekend During a design team workshop at Paper Niche using papers from Kaiser craft, Prima embellishments and of course lots of Bling from ZVA Creative. I used the following style numbers CRB-05CB-103, CRB-06CA-117 and CRB-06CA-103

If you like me sometimes make pages and add pictures later, this is a great way to make sure your bling or pearls don't get ruined when you try to add the picture. Simply leave some of the backing under the bling and remove later when you place the picture

If you would like to play along with our design team, just follow along the blog path. I am linking to one of the Zva designers and that designer is linking to the next and so on. Be prepared to be inspired along the way!
The Blog Hop starts today, February 24th and runs through midnight US Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, February 25th.
***Prizes***
Hidden on FIVE of the blogs along the way is a Zva Creative prize package!
Winners will be randomly chosen after the hop is over. All you need to do is leave a comment on one post... you do not need to leave a comment on each and every designer's blog post to qualify. However, the more times you comment along the blog hop path, the more chances you will have to win.
The 5 winners will be announced on Wednesday, February 26th on Zva Creative Facebook page. We will do our best to notify each winner, but
it's best if you can pop in to Zva's page on Wednesday to see if you are a winner!
We also thought it would be more fun to add even more chances to win our
blog hop prize! To increase your chances of winning:
 * Comment to let us know that you posted on your Facebook page about our hop (link to any of the blog hop posts)
*Comment to let us know that you "tweeted" about our hop (link to any of the blog hop posts)
*Comment to let us know that you asked your local store to carry Zva creative products. If they already do, that's fantastic, maybe you can suggest other products that they don't carry.
*Hop over to Zva's facebook page Like us and leave a comment that you joined our blog hop

The blog hop begins here at Zva Creatives blogYour next stop is Anna Zaprzelska HERE. Enjoy! Thank you for joining us!P.S. Mark your calendar to join us again on March 31st for our next Zva blog hop!!!

Playing with different textures and techniques

this is a page I did before I left for Norway, I made it for a challenge at ACOT and later made a sketch of it for the sketch challenge at Paper Niche. Had a lot of fun here using different techniques and mediums. Used Utee, Glass bead medium (Liquitex) and Crackle paint. The background is stamped with one of Wendy Vechi's stamps and colored in with distress ink. I also used Tim Holtz embossing folder and Dymo for journaling. The sketch is posted on my sketch blog.

I have used Bazzill paper that I stamped with a script stamp and TH's swirl stamp. tattered angels compass stamp stamped on to CI's real wood. The flowers are punched out from stamped Bazzill . The chipboard letters are from Kaiser and are stamped with a wood grain stamp. I have also used stamps from Basic Gray (the word Cherish)and Tim Holtz (the car) everything is colored in with distressing ink. Other products used is alpha stickers and clip from MM, Leaf ribbon from May-Art, Bird charm from Tim Holtz, Zva pearl swirl and Ranger archival ink
The picture is of my mom and grandmother back in 1960 somewhere in south Norway. Out on their Sunday outing, my grandparents would take a ride the car every Sunday, stopping where ever it looked nice for some rest a cup of coffee and lunch
